Yes the author did get me because I thought that Becker really had failed. I relized that it was a nightmare when the world began to fall apart. This would indicate a dream because in a book the main character can't fail because then there wouldn't be a story.
ReplyDeletethe part when i relized that the ripple effect was a nightmare was when the me-2 accused becker of starting the ripple effect because a me-2 is only supposed to take your place for a few hours not a few millinniums
ReplyDeleteThe author really did get me! Just like you Aaron I was thinking that Becker really failed. I was so mad that the author had to ruin the story like that!!!! I was fooled! In the back of my head I knew that the story couldn't really end like that so I was only partly fooled.
ReplyDeleteHe really got me. I thought that the world was falling apart! Since the book was science fiction anything is possible. But I did think that he would sew the world back together or something like that. In other words, I got punked (tricked).
ReplyDeleteBen,
ReplyDeleteBut the Me-2 is suppose to act like you and Becker would do the same.
if you were suposed to act like somebody you liked as a friend and they caused the end of the world, would you try to make them feel ashamed?
ReplyDeleteThe author got me too. I was sort of thinking that the sequel was how he was going to fix all of it because I knew it was s series. I was wrong. I also started to think about other possibilities when the world started to fall apart. I also found myself going back to the importance of sleep. That "seemed" (get it?) to occur frequently.
ReplyDeleteAaron, you're so technical. But the author did get me. I was on edge. All I could hear in my head was" , no, nO, NO!!!!
