Because she has an alarm system and she could get caught easier.
ReplyDelete1. I think Jen doesn't go to Luke's house because Luke knows he would get in giant trouble if caught and his parents come home earlier than hers.
ReplyDelete2. I think Luke might not trust her as much as she trusts him because she is careless about him being over and he is protective and careful when he is over.

ReplyDeleteHow would the alarm system get her caught if she knows how to set and unset it?
1. I think Jen never goes to Lukes house because they never thought of it. Also, if she goes outside, it would set off the alarm system, and she would have to go back to set it off, and it would keep happening. Also, Lukes family comes home at different times, so they could be caught. But if this is so, what if Luke was at Jens house when his parents came home?
ReplyDelete2. I tthink that this might meean that Jen may just be using Luke. She may not care about him because he does not have anything and he is not rich.

ReplyDeleteJen never goes to Lukes house because if she makes one false move she is going to be found. For example, if she forgets to turn off the alarm system, her life is over! In my last post I said that she was careless and she is, but on some things she isn't. This would be one of them. This part in the story tells me that she is not totally careless!
ReplyDeleteJen won't go to Luke's house because one mistake will end her life probably. Her father will know if the alarm would be off then knowing she went somewhere. Or also I think since in the book it says that Luke's father works out in the field what would happen if he saw Luke and Jen together OUTSIDE?
ReplyDeleteI can infer that maybe Jen isn't completely careless or stupid.
Jen doesn't go to Lukes house because his family is much more strict about hiding. If Luke's dad comes home from the field early, Luke would be in BIG trouble for even finding Jen much less crossing the field to her house. They would both be in big doo doo if someone found out where at Jens house they are much safer.
ReplyDeleteI can infer that although Jen is a little careless she is NOT stupid and would never do anything to get someone else in trouble. She does care about Luke and his saftey. I infer Jen is trustworthy and Luke is safe with her.
Jen never goes to Luke's house because Jen's dad will know if the alarm has been turned off, and if her dad finds out, they both would be in LOADS of trouble. Jen's house is much safer.
ReplyDeleteI can infer that Je is a bit reckless, but she is NOT Stupid. And she cares about the other shadow kids to ever get them in trouble. I think she cares about her rally too much. And she cares about Luke a lot. Luke trusts her and I think he is safe with her.
