1. Are  "rules" the foundation of a good organization? Explain.

  1. Of course, because if if you have no rules then people wont follow your orders and everything will fall apart. For example, if someone tells a worker to make 500 cars by friday and it doesn't happen, you wont get as much money and people will not by from you because you don't get your items there on time.

  2. Alex,

I am not meaning this to pick you apart but, did you think about the specific "rules" in the SEEMS, not the rules in our everyday lives. What would be awesome is if you could comapre and contrast our rules in modern day to the "rules" in the SEEMS.

  3. Yes I think that without rules things would get out of hand and become chaos. For example if a school didn't have rules people would be doing bad things. On the other hand if they don't have rules then people might respect the freedom.

  8. I think that the strong foundation of a good organization is the philosophy that the organization starts with in the first place. Once a common philosphy is established, the rules follow. It is important to get a group together that intially believes in the same mission/philosophy.

  9. I agree with Aaron that without rules, there would be total chaos.

Looking back through history (and I do mean i wnat you to look way, way, way, back) do you think it was necessary for a small group of people to make the decisions and rules for a large group of people. SUPPORT YOUR ANSWER WITH HISTORICAL EVIDENCE AND NOT YOUR PERSONAL OPINIONS!!!!

  10. I am thinking the original 13 colonies for some odd reason like out in space. Anyway the thirteen colonies got together and made decisions for the whole parts of land and it didn't go too well since a few people can't boss other people around like kings and queens. Also like King Tut he sat and ruled and made up rules.
