The Seems 35

1. What does the scene on pages 193-195 remind you of?
2. Why do you think the author chose to present it in this manner?

  1. 1. This reminds me of carttoons I wach that will have the main person say "scaple" and and his side kick will reapete that. The cuting of the wires are like that old stereo type "red or blue wire!"
    2. The author chose to do this because the story would be more supensfull.

  3. 1. I agree with Ben on the first one totally. I couldn't of said it better.

    2. By doing this the author made the story come alive in a way to me.

    3. Alex:
I am not commenting on yours everytime to pick it apart, but you need to fix your details in a way to make them stronger. AMybe rearaging them or adding a bit of substance to them and that would make them stronger too.

  5. Wow Ben, I couldn't have said it any better myself! Great thinking, I totally and completely agree.

Wow again! Aaron took the words right out of my mouth! I also think that the author did this to tie up the loose ends in the story.

  6. Why are red and blue wires always used in bombs? There must be a reason why those two colors were chosen. We may need to ask Mr. Collins for insights into this. He knows a lot about science.

  8. this reminds me of the game Operation, because when becker is taking off the metal plate from the machine, he is unable to touch metal against metal.
