1. What does it mean..."She could still see me," (p. 107).

  1. I think this means that even though she couldnt really see him nor could anyone else, that they were such good friends in his heart he truley believed that somewhere she could from his voice get an image of what he looked like.

  2. I think this means even though she i blind and can't literally see him, she knows him well enough that she can see past all his words and she can see him on the inside and see him for the person he is underneath. She could see him in that she knew him so well that although she isn't really seeing him it is like she is.

  3. Also in the book she says " that I havent really how you look." "Its more a feeling I get."

I think in this its saying that she knows what he feels most of time to kinda put two and two together.

  4. I agree Jane.

I also think that this means that no matter if you're blind, or disabled, or diseased, you can always see friends for who they are. And that is what Alicia did. I know who my true friends are, and there's alot of them.

  5. I think this means that even though she couldn't really see him, from what he told her, she saw what she imagined of him. I totally agree with Jane. He believed that in her head, she saw her version of Bobby.

  6. I think this means that she can see the real him on the inside by listening to his comments and words and looks at him on the inside and not on the outside. She sees how big his heart is for different people of different genders and of different color skin.

  7. I think this means that Alicia could hear him and get an idea of how he is. For example, she can hear a audio book and see the image the author wants her to see. Also, I think that Alicia has to hear people to see a brief image of them and she hears Bobby talk most of the time.

  8. I think that this means that she could still see Bobby's personality and kind of visualize how he could look. Like Courtney said she could imagine what was happening in her book because she could see for a portion of her life.

  9. 1. Well Alicia was never really invisible, but people acted like she was. Her friend Nancy never let Alicia's blindness stop her from them being friends. Nancy never stopped talking to Alicia like everyone else did. So I think that when Alcicia said "see could still see me," it meant that Nancy did not treat her like she was invisible.

  10. 1. When Alicia became blind, she felt like she was invsible, and everybody treated her like that too and tried to avoid her. When Nancy was still nice to her, it showed that she didn't ignore her and that's what she meant by she could still see me.

Devon. I like how you use dthe quote in the sentence, and I like your ideas.
Lily, I think the quote is talking about Nancy.

  12. I think this means that she can see him in his mind. She sees him as an honest person. She does this just by being around him.

  13. Courtney if she was in a busy crowd could she see everyone?

  14. Jason,
No, because she is blind. Alicia could get an idea of how many people are around her, but not know their features.
